Bob's Testimony

A devout Catholic all of his life, Bob contracted polio at fourteen. His affliction seemed only to deepen his conviction. Although he struggled with health issues throughout his years, his faith never faltered.

Last year, at 84, he found himself in the hospital and before long, in the Hospice Center.

Bob professed the truth until his last peaceful breath.

Shortly before he passed from this world, he shared that he had no doubt where he was headed. On one visit, Bob cast his eyes and finger heavenward and confided in his grandson, Zach, “Jesus is the way…”

On a visit before Bob went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his daughter stayed past dark - which was unusual considering her two hour commute:

“I’m sorry Dad, I have to get Zach home. He has school tomorrow.”
He had been in a good mood all day and looked toward the table and chairs in his room and smiled, “That’s okay … Jay will stay with me.”
I was a bit taken aback, “Who’s Jay?”
Once again, Dad looked at the empty table and chairs, and then returned his gaze to me. He was smiling and somewhat laughing, “I don’t know, but he said he would stay.”

"Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14)

"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body." (Philippians 3:20-21)

"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his." (Romans 6:4-5)

"I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34:1-4)

"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." (1John 5:13)

John 14:6 ... "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

"May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance." (2 Thessalonians 3:5)

"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7)

“Thank God for His Word!

… let us pray together …

'Father, what we know not, teach us;

what we have not, give us;

what we are not, make us;

for Your Son’s sake and in His Name.  Amen.”

Alistair Begg

“I’m asking you to put your trust in Christ

Pray this prayer …

‘Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I’m a sinner

and I ask for your forgiveness.

I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead.

I turn from my sins. I repent of my sins.

I invite you to come into my heart and my life.

I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior.

In Jesus name, Amen.’

‘He’s Alive!

I’ve given my life not to a dead Christ, but to a living Christ …

I have reason for existence.

I know where I’ve come from.

I know why I’m here.

I know where I’m going ...

Do you?”
